Comfortable and durable, they come with 2 replaceable PM2.5 filters. This special 5 layer PM2.5 filter—made from activated carbon and a non-woven melt-blown filter cloth—effectively keeps away ‘particulate matter’ larger than 2.5 microns which includes a range of airborne contaminants including droplets, dust and pollution. 2.5 micrometers is about 3% the diameter of a human hair.
A PM2.5 filter lasts 48-72 hours depending on usage and the environment they are used in. It's recommended to replace the filter approximately 2-3 days after frequent use and 5-7 days for occasional use. We'll be offering packs of filters so you can just keep changing them as you want.

This wearable art has a layer of nonwoven material on the outside, meant to be used with a 5 layer PM 2.5 filter inserted in the built in pocket, and has a smooth cotton layer faceside for extra comfort.
Two replaceable PM 2.5 filters are included.
Our wearable art is washable, reusable, and durable. Machine wash cool. Do not use bleach, as it may damage the printing. Tumble dry on low heat and remove promptly once dry cycle has completed.
A set of adjusters are included for the ear straps .
An optional adjustable attachable nose bridge wire is included.

What’s A PM2.5 Filter?
The PM in PM2.5 refers to ‘particulate matter’, also known as particle pollution. This term describes extremely small solid particles and liquid droplets suspended in air.
The 2.5 refers to the 2.5 micron measurement (and larger) of particles that these filters are designed to capture. While our facegear comes with two PM2.5 filters, it is not intended to fully filter out ALL particles smaller than 2.5 microns that you may encounter.
Your facegear’s replacement filter uses a 5 layer filtration design and is made of non-woven fabric and activated carbon making it durable while easy to breathe through. This 5-layer PM 2.5 filter system effectively keeps away dust particles, pollen, electrostatic particles, benzene, construction debris, hair, fine wool fibers, etc.
Filters measure approx. 12x8cm/4.8x3.15in, are compatible with most dust face coverings, and easy to insert or replace.
